Important UPDATE

The Boy Scouts of America, in cooperation with the Wilderness Medical Society, the American Red Cross, and other Wilderness Medicine organizations is replacing the Wilderness First Aid Basics course. The new American Red Cross course is Wilderness and Remote First Aid.

Although the new course has not been released we are aware of several changes. In order to take WRFA, you must have a current Adult CPR, with AED certificate. The minimum age is 14 years by the last day of the WRFA course. The WRFA course is 16 hours. The certificate will be valid for 2 years. Adult CPR/AED is less than 5 hours.

We will post additional information as it becomes available.
